Using the LiteSpeed Request Generator

The LiteSpeed Request Generator in Encompass allows you to efficiently request and track borrower responses for letters of explanation or signatures.

Accessing the LiteSpeed Request Generator

• Navigate to the LiteSpeed Request Generator form within Encompass and confirm you're in the correct borrower's file.

• Use the interface to create and manage borrower requests.

  • 

Requesting a Letter of Explanation

• Select the Request for Explanation option.

  • 

• Enter the details and titles of your request (e.g., reason for the request, transaction details).

  • 

• Choose the borrower responsible for providing the explanation.

  • 

• Add the request to the borrower’s needs list.

  • 

Requesting a Signature

• Select the Request a Signature on Prepared Explanation option in the Type dropdown.

  • 

• Enter or edit the statement that needs to be confirmed. In the example above, we used the Populate Credit Inquires button to populate the relevant credit data for our request.

• Choose which borrowers need to sign the document as seen above.

• Add the request to the borrower’s needs list.

• Email the needs list to the borrower.

Managing Requests

• Requests are tracked in a log at the bottom of the screen in the Previous Requests box:

• The log updates as borrowers interact with the requests, showing real-time status changes.

Reviewing Completed Requests

• Once a borrower completes a Letter of Explanation or a signature, you'll receive an email and SMS notification letting you know the borrower(s) completed the task(s).

• You'll see in the Previous Requests box that the requests will be marked as completed with date stamps:

• To view the documents, navigate to your eFolder > File Manager:
