Does the LiteSpeed Needs List support password protected PDFs and other documents?
One of the limitations of document uploads occurs when Borrowers attempt to upload password protected files. While it may appear as if the file has been successfully uploaded to the eFolder, the Encompass® user will be unable to open it due to its password protection. Encompass cannot open files that are password protected and the user will receive an error message indicating the file is inaccessible.To resolve this issue, borrowers should remove the password protection from the file prior to uploading it. Once the password protection is removed, the file can be easily uploaded to the LenderLogix Needs List and Encompass® users will be able to easily access it.
