Can a Borrower see the documents that they have uploaded?

After uploading documents to the Needs List, can the borrower view the document?

As a borrower uploads their documents within LenderLogix LiteSpeed, they will see the file name of their documents within the Needs List file uploader. While borrowers can see the file names they uploaded, they will not be able to view the actual documents that they have uploaded. 

This is due to security reasons, as borrowers should not have access to other borrower’s documents. The documents uploaded are available to authorized users only who are working on the specific loan application within Encompass®.

If a borrower would like to retrieve a copy of a document they uploaded, they should directly contact their loan officer.

It is important to note that LenderLogix LiteSpeed leverages existing investments in ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass®, and all documents uploaded by borrowers are securely sent to the loan officer, who can view all uploaded documents and take necessary actions right from within Encompass®.
