How Borrowers Experience eSigning and eDisclosures

LiteSpeed offers the ability to integrate eDisclosure or eSigning directly into the LiteSpeed Needs List, providing a seamless experience for borrowers and operational staff. This guide walks you through how the feature works and what borrowers will experience during the process.

How It Works

  1. Issuing Disclosures

    • Your operations or support staff will issue disclosures as they normally do.
    • Once the disclosure request is sent, it will appear as a task item on the borrower’s LiteSpeed Needs List.
  2. Borrower View

    • Borrowers will see the task in their Needs List and can click to access it.
    • Each borrower is clearly shown which documents they are responsible for signing, ensuring clarity even if they share an email address.

    • Borrowers are prompted to create an account via consumer connect as they usually do:
  4. eSigning Process

    • Borrowers log in using their credentials and enter the authorization code.
    • Once inside the eSign portal, they can view and sign the required documents.
  5. Notifications

    • Once the borrower completes the eSigning process:
      • Notifications are sent via Encompass to all relevant parties.
      • This includes the staff responsible for issuing disclosures, confirming the documents have been signed and reviewed.
