LiteSpeed Audit Trail and Doc Upload

Managing borrower documents can be a complex process, especially when documents are mislabeled or moved within the e-folder. LiteSpeed offers two powerful features within Encompass to streamline this process: the Document Upload History and the Upload File tool.

Using the Document Upload History

The Document Upload History provides a comprehensive audit trail for every document uploaded by a borrower. This is particularly useful when multiple people are working on a file and documents might be moved or renamed.

To access the Document Upload History:

  1. Navigate to the LiteSpeed Needs List page.

  2. Scroll to the very bottom of the page.

  3. Click on the Document Upload History button.


Using the Upload File Tool

When you receive borrower documents outside of the LiteSpeed system—such as via email or in-person drop-offs—it is best practice to upload them through LiteSpeed rather than directly into Encompass.

To upload documents manually:

  1. Go to the bottom of the LiteSpeed Needs List page.

  2. Click the Upload File button.

  3. Select the documents from your device and upload them to the general bucket.
