The AI Document Renaming feature acts as an automated assistant that sits between the borrower's upload and your eFolder. It doesn't just look at where a borrower thinks they put a file; it looks at the actual content of the document.

  1. Borrower Upload: The borrower uploads documents to their needs list. They might use random naming conventions or even select the incorrect category (e.g., uploading an ID into the "Bank Statements" section).

  2. AI Analysis: LiteSpeed Intelligence reviews the file data in real-time.

  3. Automatic Relabeling: The system identifies the document type (e.g., Driver's License, Pay Stub, Bank Statement) and extracts key metadata to create a standardized name.

Accuracy and Metadata Extraction

When these documents arrive in your Encompass eFolder, they are no longer mystery files. The AI renames them using a descriptive format that includes:

  • Document Type: Clearly identifies what the file is.

  • Borrower Name: Automatically associates the file with the specific individual.

  • Contextual Details: * Driver’s License: Includes the issuing state.

    • Pay Stubs: Includes the employer name (e.g., Home Depot) and the specific pay period dates.

    • Bank Statements: Includes the institution name (e.g., Howard Bank) and the statement date range.
